i regularly check out Yahoo's front page stories, whatever they may be, because they throw themselves at me whenever i need to check my e-mail... but one of my favorite sections that i don't mind checking out on the regular is their celebrity style opinions (courtesy of OMG! from Yahoo), in this case their What Were They Thinking weekly (?) photo slide show...

this weeks slide show header included "Sarah Jessica Parker and Katie Holmes don disgusting denim"... first off, what is SO disgusting about these jeans? anyone?

i'll admit sjp isn't really all put together in the black tube top and pepto pink cardi but those jeans are hot! especially with the knee biker stitching detail... oh and matched with those clogs! it almost makes up for that top half lols :P

as far as miss katie goes, yes its pretty tomboyish... but i think it still looks pretty good... maybe some more feminine accessories would've helped her out like a flower in the hair or more feminine hair do or some big gold baubles on her fingers.

i just wanted to vent about how sometimes the media's criticizing eye is REALLY off... (see my post here about MKO's wrongly dissed outfit lols)

a quick post, because i felt inclined to, before my big weekend post :)

why oh why is Mary Kate Olsen in the "what were they thinking" category this week?! i personally love the hell out of this outfit!... super cute boxy jacket (i've always been a sucker for like old school curtain/sofa pattern reminiscent textiles, do those have a specific name? lolz i should find out), over sized and high collar blouse, PERFECT wash on the skinnies, awesome accessories, perfect braided boho hair, and fabulous booties! i could probably do without the 90's style leather backpack but u know what... the rest of this is fly enough for her to carry whatever the fuck she wants! lolz... stop hating style critics... cuz MKO is doin work in this!

doesn't make sense to me

why are hot women always getting cheated on?! is it some sort of code that if you're super fuckin hot or really attractive and an all around nice person (i.e. sandra bullock) you have to be some sort of prudish prune in the sack? because i clearly cannot see any other reason why these douche bags would cheat! and yes i understand that they are in fact attractive, spotlight centered celebrities so things that happen to them are amplified and seem more out of place than oh say when someone cheats on Heather Matarazzo (fugly girl from Princess Diaries) or Jocelyn Wildenstein (aka the bride of Wildenstein)

i've come to this conclusion today after i saw that Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon (from the Jamie Foxx show and NYPD) has also just discovered that her... not so handsome husband... has been having a 5 year affair behind her back with "some slut in chicago." oh yea did i mention she wrote an e-mail to all of his coworkers outing him? lolz

i just wonder what it is with THESE men... is it because their women are celebrities that they feel like they need to get it on with a "regular" woman ahem or man, in some cases, on occasion. I dunno... i guess it just irked me a bit because i'm sure these women aren't exceptionally shitty people... they're probably as moody and carry as much 'tude as a few of us do... but it seems as though many of these Hollywood women can't keep a man loyal to save their lives! while on the other hand i see many "regular" folks (as in regular life style not necessarily regular appearance lolz ;)) holding down steady and healthy relationships with men who appreciate them as if they were celebrities... blah... who knows... sorry... just rambling guys! :) but i DID find the topic for my next post! mwahahaha

i love me some mickey rourke... even after the intense facial reconstruction... but a sheer v-neck, too low cut jeans, and a toy dog? all he needs is a designer handbag and a crotch shot in the archives and he's pretty much a Hollywood heiress lolz what do you guys have to say about his 'fit?

and while we're at it... males in the skinny jeans? is there an age range for this trend cuz it seems to be perfectly acceptable from the pre-teen, tween, teen crowd... is anyone else just as bothered as me that there are now relationships in which the pants are literally interchangeable?!
